The Rebel Alliance against Antiscience
I wonder, if we survive as a species, whether future historians will judge this early era of social media as the greatest tragedy for human discourse that modern Homo sapiens ever blundered into. That said, we can do what we can to fight the good fight for science - for evidence, for reason, for the appropriate respect for experienced professionals in the field and the appropriate scepticism for those whose sole qualifications are an afternoon's social media research and a very loud voice.
